Learning and Learning Processes
Learning to Learn: Module 1

Learning is something we all do every day, but have you ever stopped to consider what learning truly is? In this module, we examine what learning means. Then we’ll explore two different ways people and organisations learn: single-loop learning and double-loop learning.
Objectives
When you have completed this module, you will be able to:
Define ‘Learning’
Describe the difference between ‘Single-loop’ and ‘Double-loop’ learning.
This module will be free to read for seven days.
Join my New Subscriber Chat
Today, I’m announcing a new addition to my Substack publication: Learning Pages subscriber chat.
This is a conversation space exclusively for subscribers—like a group chat or live hangout. I’ll post questions and updates that come my way, and you're welcome to join the discussion. I’ll also be posting exclusive quotations, exercises, puzzles and quotes.
How to get started
Get the Substack app by clicking this link or the button below. New chat threads won’t be sent by email, so turn on push notifications to avoid missing conversations as they happen. You can also access chat on the web.
Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two speech bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for my chat inside.
That’s it! Join my thread to say ‘Hi’. If you have any issues, check out Substack’s FAQ.
Substack publication
I have changed the address of my Substack publication to:
LearningPages.info
My homepage is still:
LearningPages.org
Learning Pages apps
macOS
I have renewed my Apple Developer subscription to make my apps even more secure and their installation easier.
Every app needs to be signed and ‘notarized’ with an Apple Developer account. I will let you know here when apps are ready for distribution.
iOS
I will also be developing iOS apps. They will need to be installed via the Apple App Store, but only paid subscribers will be able to access them.
